Pump Shell-Ductile Iron

    This is a great ductile iron part named pump shell used for pump industry area.

    Balasen designed advanced pouring system to feed and float into the mold cavity.

    We have opened pouring system deployment, inner gates section proportion is much bigger than sprue to ensure liquid iron stable flowing in.

    The mold separating is on the middle, upper mold connected to lower mold by sealing material, while the runner is setting on joint face.

    For melt, we have great ratio for pig iron, scrapped steel. We use Elkem furnace material to ensure good melt process and nodulizing process and induction process.

    During mold process, we will use necessary chills to ensure good cooling process during solidification.

    We get a fantastic ductile iron part when it shake out. We go to next step of following grinding, anneal of heat treatment, shoot blasting, NDT, dimensions inspection, painting, painting inspection, final visual control etc..

    Finally, we pack this soundness part and ship to client.
